Single Cover Art: Wiz Khalifa - “Burn After Rolling”

I put this together quickly, mostly as an excuse to use some one of the photos from Dan’s set he shot over CMJ and I later used for The Volume.

Not much was really done to this except some subtle layering and texture add ons. I picked the photo because I felt like the pose from Wiz was great, but it gets a little lost in the standard horizontal/landscape shot, and looked like it would work well in the square album art style. Below, the original and slideshow of the layers working against Dan’s photo.
