We began this project in October of this year as a place to leave a mark on our adventures. Our collective is a group of young creatives living on a corner in Williamsburg whose street names happen to have a turn of phrase quality providing an ideal outlook in a time of recession and resolution. As 2009 draws to a close we look forward to the new year and decade as an opportunity to continue our growth.

Somewhere along the line of these months we developed the phrase “Journey to the far out” as our tagline. This phrase shares with our name in its carrying of a double meaning. On the one hand we are all on a journey to find ourselves a future, all the while sharing what we find to be the best creative work, products, clothing, music and more this city has to offer. We are chasing the cool along our way. Journey = discovery, far out = cool.

With 12 fresh months ahead for 2010 we have begun planning our editorial and collaborative calendar and hope to bring you the best of what we can find along the way. If you have a new and exciting project that you want to share please reach out to us. While we will always post and share the most ‘far out’ projects we come across our main goal is to create unique collaborations for artists, designers and creative to share their work to the masses and to be part of the project. We want to document your behind the scenes, your process, your openings and launches. We want to work with the best talent and brands willing to look at a site as a new opportunity to blur the lines between media + creative + advertising + entertainment + promotion.
